On February 17th, Watkinsville Mayor Bob Smith, recognized the 100th Anniversary of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® by presenting a Proclamation recognizing GAR®’s Anniversary. He invited 2014 GAR® President, Linda Carol Porterfield, and her husband, Gary, a native of Watkinsville, to accept the Proclamation. Linda Carol gave a brief history of GAR®, of Watkinsville & of their family which runs so congruently. Mayor Smith has been a REALTOR® for 43 years, Linda Carol for 38 years and Gary for 16 years.
